Am suffering from Monday Blues... :(

First, the TOTM pain is still hanging right there & refuses to budge.. The pain is bearable, but irritatingly getting on my nerves!!! Grrrr~~~!!!!!

That sickening PRC is not here yet again...!!! He has been going on urgent leave soooooooooooo much recently, & its again, getting on my nerves...!!!

Anyway, whether he reports to work of not, it didn't matter to me anymore, since all he does (even if he reports to work) is reading his lecture notes or surfing the net lor...!!!

The thing i'm not satisfied about, is that not only is he NOT helping AT ALL, he gets easily irritated when i asked.. When things happens, all he does is the finger-pointing game, & accuses me of things thats NOT MY FAULT!!

When i'm saying NOT my fault, i've got evidence to prove ok!!!! And when he realises that its >HIS FAULT, all he does is keep quiet & doesn't even have the courtesy to apologise for his blunder!!!!

Evidence below is the email he forwarded to me.. He told me to edit the shipment details accordingly, then send out to customer.

Dear XX,

Good day.

We are pleased to inform you that above order has been shipped on board vessel *XXX *, ETD Singapore on 6.Oct.2009.

We are enclosing one set of non-negotiable shipping documents as follows:

1. Invoice No: 1003xxxx dated 06-10-09 amounting to SGD XXX CNF DUBAI

2. Packing List

3. Copy of Bill of Lading No: SGS XXXXXXXXXX ( Original BL said to be surrendered)

4. Certificate of Origin

The above original shipping documents will be sent to you via DHL courier service today, AWB No. XXXXXXXXXX for your reference.

Once again, thanks for your order. Hear from you soon.

I happily thought that i was to hold on to the Original BL since the email, was seen as quoted <u>ORIGINAL BL IS SAID TO BE SURRENDERED..

So, i happily thought that i was TO HOLD that original BL & send customer the Copy of BL.. (those in shipping line should understand what i'm trying to mean.. )

So, after i sent out the required documents, he looked at the file & was shocked to find the ORIGINAL BL still sitting in the file.. He got agitated & questioned me:

he: why are you still holding on to the original BL???!!!!

me: huh?? I thought the email you forwarded to me said so???

he: since when???!!! (then he started going to look into his sent items..)

Then, an OH SHIT was all that came from him..

Then, i tried calling DHL to stop the courier from going out of S'pore, only to find out that there would be a $30 penalty charge for recalling the document..

So, he told me that i can jolly well forget about recalling the document, & that i should call for another DHL to get that original BL out to the customer.. By then, it was already past 6pm.. So, he told me to do it the next day, which was Friday..

Now, i walked into office on Friday morning & was told by my superior that that PRC is on urgent leave.. So, i just orh-ed & continued with the morning rush hour for local orders.. It was a relatively heavy (order) morning..

Now fast forward again..

When i finally found time to do the courier thing, my superior was equally shocked that i was still holding on to the original BL..

And before i could even explain myself, she jumped @ me & gave me a good lashing down...

she: why the hell is this BL doing here???!! Do you know that without this document, client cannot claim the goods from the port???!!!! He would jump at us for any additional costs incurred you know????!!! Do you bloody know how important the BL is????!!! Its prove of ownership of goods you know??!!!

me: (already trying to fight back tears from the really really harsh tone) But, the emails that Ray had sent me indicated that the BL is SAID TO BE SURRENDERED, so i thought....

she: NO!!!!! Connie!!! No!!! Shit!!!! Do you know how much customer would incur for having the shipment sitting at the port???!!!! It can go up to like thousands of dollars!!!!

So then, i started crying..

she: why are you crying again???!! (there was this other time she saw me cry pls refer to archieve post)

I mean, i cannot help it, not to cry because i'm really at my wits end already.. Being the timid person i am, i cry everytime i get scolded for the wrong reasons, for for things thats not even my fault... I was dumbfounded & couldn't fit my explanations (i really do have explanations) into understandable words...

Tell me, who would want to purposely do something wrong & await scolding right??? More so, its a oversea shipment you know?? Who would be so stupid to do extra work???

I came into office today, & was told that he's on urgent leave yet again... Isn't it already pretty obvious that he's playing me out???

I won't be surprised if he's not coming in tomorrow, cause to me now, whether he's coming in or not, it makes no difference AT ALL!!!
