The weekend was a hectic & expensive one... )= Mani & pedicure: $38.30 (on offer) Actual Day makeup & hairdo; (night only): $75 Ang pow: $XXX (Dear & me combined) Very very expensive indeed... Its the first time i'm spending this much in a span of less than 24 hours.. But i would say, its worth it, because she's the only elder sister i've got... (that's what the makeup artist said, to make me do the makeup+hairdo, a last minute decision) Even Dear was blissfully ignorant about me doing the last minute makeup, & his jaw dropped when i appeared out of nowhere in the crowd... HAHA!!! So funny can... You all never caught his reaction.. If you did, you'll would laugh!!! Anyway, the church wedding, was a very touching one, & i find myself, crying beyond control, & consolation, when BIL suddenly sung a solo & out of tuned song in front of sooooooooo many guests... It was her favourite song, THIS IS THE DAY.... Its sooooooooo touching can!!! Many people cied lor!!! Anyway, its a good thing that everything is finally over & i can start on my intensive job search, before i start rotting at home... HAHA!!! Anyone got any lobang...?? Leave me a tag pls.. Why am i having this kind of craving now...??? Can someone bring me out to eat...??? I'm dying of boredom @ home!!! Got another interview tomorrow, @ 9am... Anyway, 长话短说: 我只想说, 我爱汉堡包!!!!! Tuesday, 23 September 2008 19:27 Today very drama... HAHA!!!! First, i had KFC for lunch... Had the Fish Zinger Meal, which was half finished, coz the meal was too big for me.... Then, while i was lunching halfway, an old lady, about 80 years old, walking with the aid of a walking stick, walked into the restaurant, & ordered a 2 pcs(crispy) chicken meal, & guess what?? She finished the whole meal ok...!!! 2pcs chicken, with whipped potato, coleslaw, & a coke!!! Yes!! I was amazed that she drank coke!!! Its such a rare sight to see an old & frail woman, walk into a fastfood joint, order a meal, drink coke, & most amazingly, finished the whole meal, all by herself, & asked for more chilli!!! Amazing hor??? (or am i just suaku..??) HAHA!!!! Then, i trained down to Raffles Place for my first interview... (= While on the train, i witnessed a man went berserk for no rhyme or reason... He was screaming & shouting hysterically, & the best part was, he was less than 10 steps away from where i am sitting!!! A woman, who was sitting right in front of where he was standing, stood up & briskly walked away... I bet she was terrified!!!! It went on for about 5 minutes, & all eyes stared balnkly @ him, as it unfolded, right before our very eyes.... *shiver* I alighted @ Raffles Place, & guess what..?? I saw a 5-dollar note fly past, (someone must have dropped it), & since no one was bothered to pick that $5 up, so i ran after it like as if it was $50 lor!!! HAHA!!!! I'm richer by $5!!!! So happy lor!!! Later, i went to Changi for another interview, which i really pin high hopes of getting, coz its soooo near my place!!!.... Lets hope i get it... (= Then, just now, as i was walking to buy dinner, i picked up another 20cent... So happy.... (= In all, i'm richer by $5.20 today.... (= You all happy for me anot huh...?? I really very happy!!!! I think i something-wrong already!!! HAHA!!! Monday, 22 September 2008 14:24 Sorry for the lack of updates over the weekend... Here comes a short update, since i've promised LKK to update a bit, for him to kill time in office!!! HAHA!!! Ain't i SWEET??? (= Am going for a DHL interview again on Wednesday, but this time, its under logistics... HAHA!!! High on demand for DHL or mere coincidence...?? You guys play judge!!! (= _______________________________________________________ The final fitting on Saturday went quite well.. I had my dress altered abit on the tummy area, (not because i grew fatter, but because the food is nice!!!!) so i can eat ALOT at the wedding, without bursting the dress!!!! HAHA!!! OK... Shall update again, soon... (= Friday, 19 September 2008 10:30 Just done with mopping the floor.... Ain't i a good girl??? HAHA!!! (= I've got to hit the showers, & head down the salon, to get my hair re-dyed, trim away my split ends, & also trim my fringe... (= Going for the final fitting tommorrow, & i clean forgotten about it!!!! Shucks!! I happily asked Dear to arrange a day out with MIL, but in the end, sis had to remind the fitting is tommorrow!!! Opps!!! But anyway, i've still got 3 hours to spare, before going for the fitting... I hope Dear can make it to meet us by 2pm.. I'll be free from 2pm-5pm, before i head down for the fitting by 6pm, so i hope MIL would be happy enough already... (= Talking about the fitting, i should have slimmed down, coz i've eaten lesser in the last 2 weeks or so... So i should be able to fit in purrfectly into the dress... Hopefully no more alterations needed... (= OK.. Time for me to hit the showers... (= Thursday, 18 September 2008 14:18 The garang guni man came just now, after Da-jie called out to him, wanting to sell away the newspapers & some magazines... The conversation went like that: Sis: 报纸和magazines OK 吗? Garang Guni: OK...那你们还有没有hi-fi, 电脑, 手机还是衣服要卖? Sis: 哦,我去看看!! 等下!! While sis was inside the room, Jane asked the garang guni man a very stupid & funny question... Jane: Uncle, 人坏掉要吗? (pointing out to mum, laughing) Apparently, the uncle ignored her either purposely or unintentionally... So i asked Uncle, the same question again, this time pointing to Jane... HAHA, & guess what??? The uncle answered me!!! HAHA!!! Uncle: 哈哈!!不要啦!!等下我买了你们又会跑回来的啦!! It was so funny ok!!!! To think Jane came up with such a stupid question!!!! But then, come to think again, 人真的会坏掉吗?? Its worth some thought though.. Hee!!! (= Wednesday, 17 September 2008 13:35 Nothing much to update recently, coz all my days were spent @ home... Didn't go out @ all coz all my friends are working... i thought of going back to my ex-company to visit some old colleauges, but can't even drag myself out of the house.... HAHA!!! I do miss them... Miss their jokes, miss the companionship & most of all, i miss those very lovely customers... )= Looking back, its been about 1.5 years since i left the company... Its a good thing that some customers still remembers me... Its indeed a very nice feeling, to have them remembering me after so long... So i headed to the washroom to try to shit... Guess what..??? I lao-sai-ed again.. Yes, again... I tried going back to sleep, but to no avail... So i climbed outta bed, on-ed the compt, & started surfing aimlessly... HAHA!!! Then, i bought Mac for brekfast, then, i lao-saied AGAIN!!!! HAHA!!! Read the papers, watched TV, & by 1045, i dozed off again, all the way till 1430... (= Being the very good girl i am, i bought bee hoon soup for lunch... Didn't managed to finish it although i was feeling very hungry... I seriously don't know what happened.. I don't feel sick, but i just kept lao-sai-ing for no reason.... )= I hope all this will blow over soon, & i will be starting my job search ASAP, before i get lazier by day... HAHA!!! Monday, 8 September 2008 21:01 Am back from my ROM!!!! (= Officially Mrs Ho now... (opps!!!) (= Took loads of pictures, but its all in either Dear's or Dad's camera.. So, i will have to wait for them to pass me the pictures, before i can upload them... (= The food, is marvellous, finger-licking good... (= Having my friends & relatives with me on this special day... I am indeed, very very happy, simply over the moon!!! (= Recieved lots of gifts & well wishes from everyone.. (= Here are all the pictures!!!!! All soooooo nice can!!!! I love them all... Really!!!! (=    I love the 3rd gift to the bits!!!!!! (= Pr. Anna gift-ed it to us... Its sooooooooooo sweet & soooooooooooo nice lor!!! I would like to thank all, for the very generous gifts, ang pows, & sincere wishes from all my friends, once again... (= I'm sooooooooooo over the moon... (= 08:51 Finally, the day has come.. (= I was turning & tossing the whole of last night... Couldn't get to sleep all!!! So i decided to wake up, waning to get my camera's battery charged.. I opened the box, searched high & low for the battery chamber, & to my horror, it is no where to be seen!!!!! )= But my qucik-thinking Dad resolved the problem by asking me to charge it from the laptop, using the USB cable... HAHAHA!!! (I know i am being slow...) Was busy doing all the last minutes touchup for this big day, which included manicure, facial, washed & blowed my hair, (i cannot wash my hai today, ecause the manicurist was afraid that it might chip, if i use strength to shampoo my hair... The damage to my wallet??? A WHOOPING $200... )= Although its really heartbreaking, but since its a once in a lifetime thing, $200 to be mei mei is alright de hor..?? Hehee!!! (= Sorry for the lack of yesterday's update... Was busy sleeping, yes sleeping the whole morning yesterday... Heh... Woke up & went lunch with Dad @ Simei.. Headed home after that, & spent like close to 4 hours, to clear my very very messy cupboard.... Yes 4 long hours for just my cupboard.... :X The thing is, Dad had bought a new cupboard for us a few weeks ago, when we were looking at furnitures for sister's new home... So, Dad suddenly suggested out of the blue that we shold get our cupboard changed too, since its been like over 10 years since we last changed any furniture, & also to make more space for BIL's bed to be shifted into that room, just in case they would be sleeping over after marriage as & when they like... Nothing much to update actually, except i'm still thinking if i should go & trim my eyebrow for my ROM on Monday... Its been like 2 months since i last trimmed it, & its getting very very messy... HAHA!!! Prolly will be doing it tomorrow... (= Oh ya, talking about toorrow, tomorrow is PAYDAY!!! (= I'll be expecting a fat paycheque, because the bonus is coming in with my pay tommorrow!!! It'll be the fattest cheque i'll be getting after so many years of working!!! (= But, but, but, i've got soooooooo many bills to pay, so many things to buy, & in no time, i'll be back to square one... )= Bra(s) undergarments, new clothes, give Mum $$ etc etc.... )= So there is nothing to be jolly about afterall... I can barely fit into the white dress i initially wanted... )= So i had to go for my second choice, which is the green one... It fitted me perfectly the last time i tried on.. But the alteration department had it altered once again & it finally fitted me perfectly... Sobz.. )= Went to the ROM to get some stuffs done, & Dear suggested to do some shopping @ the Raffles City Shopping Centre.. I was reluctant @ first because i was feeling tired.. But i later relented when Dear said it was too early for him to get into office, since he had applied for half day leave... Finally, we managed to find some door gifts for our guest on our ROM... So happy can... (= I realised i've got so many things, still pending on the TO DO list.. I 've yet to source for the hand bouquet, i've yet to do something to my ugly & messy hair, (ya, my perm went haywired for i-don't-know what reason...) I've yet to book my appointment for the manicure & pedicure session, & i haven't waxed my new shoes... I still yaya & relax... Gosh!!
