Was onboard the sardine-packed train this morning when i heard a lady, shouting molest in the next cabin... It took all the passangers on board to attention...

Apparently, a Bangala man was accused of molesting the malay lady's breast, just as the train was approaching Bugis station. An argument ensued, with all eyes on them, & when the train came to a stop, the lady demanded the man to get out of the train. When the man refused, she dragged him out...

The man, who was heard apologising prpfusely, managed to break free & ran towards the next cabin(2 cabins down), & tried to squeeze his way through..

The woman then shouted:

Catch him!!! He molested my breast!!! Catch him...!! Catch him!!!

A Chinese lady, in yellow, was seen fiercely running after the man, & from where i was standing, i couldn't make out what happened next. Later, i believed the bangala alighted from the train, as loud sobs, believed to be belonging to that man, could be heard when the train was about to leave the station...

The episode left many shaken (including me), some laughing...

Frankly, those who travels to work via public transport every morning during the rush hour, would agree that the trains are often jam packed with commuters.. Some commuters, despite seeing that the train is already packed, still squeezed their way into the train, indirectly forcing those behind to take another step back, just to accommodate to their selfish act & thought...

Take myself as an example.. My poor feet is being trampled on a zillion times now, often leaving it bruised & painful.. I find myself 'tsking' @ all the people who stepped on me...

Of course i know its wrong of me.. But its so painful can..!!

Thats why, i always try to stand beside the train door. I've realized that by standing by the side, it lessen the chances of me being stepped on.. I just have to tip toe a bit when the train doors open for people to board or alight.. But i ain't so lucky everyday... )=

I just hope SMRT does something to rectify the problem..

I hate the fact that i have to pay almost twice of what i used to pay previously, & get myself bruised every other day... )=

Also, to prevent any molest case to happen again...
