Bad service
Friday, 8 August 2008 10:50

Today, i'll be ranting about the very very bad service i got from that old auntie from the noodle store yesterday.....

My family & i went to East Coast for the Abalone Noodle last night...

The noodle store, which is situated just next door to the HK Cafe @ East Coast Road, turned me off, & i left the place without even eating their bloody noodles.... )=

My Dad, elder sister, LKK & myself reached the noodle store @ about 2230, & LKK went over to the counter to order... But what followed totally pissed me off ok!!!!

That auntie,CHASED Dear back to his seat & told Dear irritably that she would come & take order later.... She was so loud, that we could hear the conversation from where we were sitting... So, Dear walked back to the table...

We waited, & waited, waited & waited, but she NEVER came & take our orders.... Later, BIL came, & tried placing the order again, but was once again, told off by that Auntie... So, BIL came back too...

Once again, we waited, waited, waited & waited... Still, there was NO SIGN of her coming to take our orders.... Instead, she went over to THE OTHER table (they obviously came much later than us) & took their orders, & within less than 5 minutes, their noodle was served....

I was already hopping MAD by then, because my tummy was already rumbling away, & i was wondering what took her SO LONG to come take our orders, since she was the once who said she would come.. Then, why was the people who came later served first???

I was soooooooo MAD, that i told Dad i'm giving the noodle a miss, i stood up & STORMED away... Dad, seeing that i was hopping MAD, asked the Auntie just how long more she need, & she replied i-don't know-what (SHE WAS MUMBLING) to Dad, & it also turned Dad off, that made Dad to stand up & walked off too.....

***FYI, Dad is a very very very patient guy ok!!!!

No doubt the noodle is finger licking good, but the service is NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the past few years, we've eaten there countless times, & everytime, we order from the counter, & the noodles normally comes within 10 minutes.. So what makes it so special yesterday...?????? I wonder....

IDIOTIC

I don't think we would be going back there EVER, EVER again, as the saying goes:

ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY

What about free noodles (if they ever serve)...??

NO THANKS....

Alright, enough of my ranting....

I was reading The New Paper this morning, & an article caught my attention.. An article featuring Bhutan, which i later realized, @ the end of the article that it was reported by newsroom intern, Yeung Xintian, my church mate!!! (=

There was this particular paragraph that sent me laughing off my chair... Something that goes like this:

Factoring the return economy airfare from Bangkok of US$744 on Bhutan's only airline, this wors out to about $2300 for 3 days in Bhutan including a transfer flight to Bangkok.

And this is if you sleep on the streets & eat grass...

*ROFL*

Its soooooooo typical of her!!!! She is a born joker, & never fails to add laughter where ever she is.... (=

Anyway, its eve of NATIONAL DAY!!!! *weeeeeeeeeeeeeet*

I'll be back with pictures, (hopefully) of the weekend... (=

31 days to ROM...

10 days to birthday!!!! (=
